Now that our one year lease is up, my girlfriend and I are moving out of this dump. The only good thing is the fact that you get a mini porch and acceptable parking.

Other than that, you cant grill on the porch or have anything on it but chairs. You cant have satellite TV in the main building K (where they house the people that don't appear to be trouble makers). You can hear everything that everyone is doing, from walking around to using the toilet. They don't let you see the apartment that you are signing a lease for so make sure to ask where they are sticking you because depending on where you are the only option you may have is to drive your trash to the dumpster. Also, make nice with your neighbors since their Murphy's security doesn't follow up with noise complaints they just assume you're guilty of making noise without knocking on your door to check (like they're supposed to). I was away on a trip and returned to find several noise complaints shoved under my door. Also, that referral money that they are supposed to give someone who referred you is a complete lie. I fought them for several weeks over this before giving up, funny they raised it to a $300. Also whenever theres a noisy party expect New Britain police to show up and increase the noise. No grounds up keep at all. Lived with tons of peeling paint outside my window this entire time, and zero landscaping. The door I used outside of my apartment also would have a broken lock every other week for a few months until the changing temperature probably fixed it. It still will not open every now and then creating a HUGE fire hazard. Elevators occasionally break down and do not work for a couple weeks either. Toilet and disposal constantly break. Finally, the staff doesnt care either way what happens there.

Thank god Im leaving!
