I lived at springwood apartments for over a year and a half, and had several complaints ranging from taking over 3 months to repaint, almost 6 months carpet that was over 3 years old, to never repairing water damage to the bathroom wall and hallway ceiling, and improperly repairing water damage to the bathroom ceiling, not once or twice, but at least three times and they allowed MOLD to grow for over 8 months before they "Fixed" it by wiping it of and painting over it without seeing what the extent of the mold growth. Also, management lied about moving me into another apartment when I resigned my lease. They lie, steal, and fail at being even the least compassionate/feeling/understanding management company I have dealt with. They did "repair" the parking lot by filling in some of the cracks (not the big ones, only the small ones), and left speed bumps that most of the cars bottomed out on if they didn't go around them, instead of repaving it like they should have. Also the sidewalks were full of cracks and buckling. Management and maintenance were advised that if my apartment needed to be entered for ANY REASON, they needed to contact me so I could arrange to be present, and they did not. I had found items moved, out of place, a mess, and things missing from the apartment.

Definitely NOT worth the cost of rent.... I suggest to everyone to spend the extra money on rent at a complex where the management company respects their tenants, is honest with them, and cares about the way the property looks.

If you decide to move into this, or any complex managed by ING management (most apartments around CCSU) I recommend getting a security system AND install video cameras and video tape the entire apartment to safeguard your property and safety...
