This is one of the best places I have ever lived. The apartments are studios with bathroom and kitchen off the main room -- a very nice size and layout. The building is very quiet, rented to members of the Yale community, it is kept clean, well-maintained and very secure. Each floor has a separate keyed entrance. The staff here are VERY conscientious and friendly. They do go out of their way to make one feel at home here, they are proud of their business and it shows. I am leaving because I am graduating, and I am glad I rented here. I've heard of others' situations in New Haven which were less than favorable (no heat, fleas, rude landlords), and if you rent with Off-Broadway, you may think these kinds of situations don't exist. The location is also great -- bright street lights and Yale security always nearby, plus it is very convenient to downtown. Also, because of the relatively affordable price, it is easy to sublet the apartment as long as you stick to the guidelines. I will miss living here and will compare this place to my future residences, with high standards.
