doesnt' feel like the city

I lived here for a year and when inside the property or roaming the courtyards I felt less like I was in a downtown city area and more like in a well-kept residential area or suburb (except for the ambulance sirens). Coming from a rural setting, that has been hard to get used to. The landscaping in spring is fantastic. The place is quiet. There are about five individual buildings on the property. The owner/landlord is friendly and fair. This may be a well kept secret!
