Perfect for me

I lived for a year in a cool 2 bed 1.5 bath duplex on top 2 floors with great views. I moved out was because I bought and moved into a house, which was the plan all along.

I work in an office building that was a 5 min walk from center court so the location was perfect. Center Ct is also an easy walk to restaurants/nightlife/shops around Yale and Wooster Sq. (There was some complaining in another review that everything is "across the Green" - translation: a whopping 4-5min walk. NH is also developing so there are new restaurants etc on the Center Ct. side of the Green.) The building is also an easy 5-10 min drive to both I-95 and 91, and is across the street from State St. train station and a 15-20 min walk to Union Station.

The building was kept clean, mgmt was always friendly and helpful, tenants were all courteous and quiet. I never had any issues with malfunctioning appliances or paint or shoddy repair work.

The only downside for me (to prove that this is a genuine review) was some occasional noise from streets (sirens, construction, motorcycles, people) with the windows open. But hey - this is the same noise that would be heard in any other apt building in the downtown area, and is a price to pay for the convenience of living in the heart of the 2nd largest city in CT (or any large city). And simply shutting the windows solved the problem.

The building does not have a parking lot (like most in downtown) but there is a monthly paying lot adjacent to the building entrance where there always seemed to be available spaces in the evenings/nights and on weekends.

Guess my best advice to New Haven apartment seekers is that you really have to visit the apt buildings in person and not base a decision solely on reviews from this or other web sites. Center Court may not be ideal for everyone but was perfect for me.
