I lived in Madison Towers for 2 years, and had a great experience - there WERE mice in the building, but if you didn't keep food out or on the floor, they stopped coming. the mice were definitely the worst part of living there. the doorman and the woman at the office were super-nice, and so were the maintenance staff (they were very speedy, too).

other than that, it was extremely convenient, inexpensive, safe (with doorman), big apartments and closets, walgreens across the street that sells milk and juice and all the necessities, convenient walk to school, great chinese/thai/indian restaurants around the corner, and convenient parking for yourself and for guests.
