I lived in Crown towers for two years. Loved the location and the floor to ceiling windows. Everything is walking distance from here and all your friends will want to hang out at your place. Unfortunately you will have to pay a steep price for this privilege. You also have to pay (a lot)separately for parking.
The apartments are OLD, though decently maintained. The appliances and fixtures are ancient but were functional.You really have no control about ac/heat as they are centrally controlled. Given the huge windows and New England winters, it is either too cold or too hot. Thankfully rent includes the heating bill.
The two doormen were wonderful. Could not say the same about the property manager, was a bit of a pain in the butt but tolerable.
Great location but very very expensive with outdated amenities. This could be the place for you depending on your priorities.
