The Best New Haven has to offer

The Centerpointe has the best apartments in downtown New Haven. During my 5 years living in New Haven and attending the University, I lived at several of the neighboring luxury buildings including a great penthouse at another apartment building on the near the town green. I can say without reservations that the Centerpointe SURPASSED all of my other experiences.

I upgraded to a larger apartment during my 2 years in the Centerpointe and while looking at other apartments, I was surprised to find that each unit is unique and benefits from beautiful hardwood floors, large, expansive windows with great views, perfect kitchens, and 4-star hotel quality bathrooms. The walls benefit from being built to the quality levels of the original building - I NEVER HEARD my next door neighbors (an aspect I appreciated and miss in my new apartment in VA!).

The BEST part of the Centerpointe, outside of the integrated WiFi, weight-room, and common room, was the building management. Willie is by far the best maintenance manager I have ever had the pleasure of working with - all of my requests and issues were resolved almost immediately and he's a great guy all around! Corrine is an amazing building manager and she made sure I and my guests were comfortable and that any issues were quickly resolved - she always went above and beyond the call of duty - which is a rarity in 2008, let alone 2008 New Haven. I had friends who lived the only other comparable luxury building in the area, the Eli (the Taft is way too inconsistent to even consider), and they preferred my place to theirs even though they had more space. Whenever someone asks what I miss the most about New Haven, I always say aside from Yale and my friends, it was DEFINITELY my apartment at the Centerpointe. If you have the opportunity to live in New Haven's most deservingly exclusive apartment building - take it!

ps. Get a parking space in one of the local garages; you can park in front of the building at night or when unloading groceries but during the day it can be tough to find a spot. Also, the foyer monitor, which is viewable in your suite via channel 15 , impressed many guests! uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
