This place is been great way more than i expected.
I was unhappy first time about price(1025$) for little studio.
But i had so wonderful time here so i don't want move out!!(i have to move cuz im getting married and moving to fiance.)
they have made ball so simple...internet, cable are free, im using cell only..so my bill is only one(electric)...so easy cave man can do it!
for the studio..unbelieably..wasing, dryer machine is in unit. also full bathrrom with marble top...so luxury. kitchen is very
new and nice..also have marble top. elegance wood floor. high celling. big big window. it is my own dream room.
Most of people here are yale students, international students or medical students and doctors. I never been in place with so many smart people around.
If you are single wants have doctor boyfriend that may works here.
also that reason...apartment always pretty empty in day time...they are proffessional people. There was only 2 babies in this whole complex.
I would never recommand this apt for family.
This apt is for hot young, single!!
you can have great party life here. they have beautiful community room with huge TV with billard table. they rent it for free. if you reserve it, you can use it for fun party. it is underground so even you were screaming nobody can here it. i used to have dance party with friends. we put sounds as loud as speaker can go.
gym is new , nice and always availible. not many people using it. i loved it.
manager looks very difficult first. but once get closer then she is very nice.
maintance guy is very funny and almost like dude with all people here.
i lost key a few times...actually a lot. but they always show up with in 1 hour and opened my door even very early in the morning.
most beautiful thing in this apt is location location!!
It is in just heart of new haven. everything is within a few blocks.
I said e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.!! even night club in 2 blocks.
this is just as good as you can possbly get in this new haven area.
There are little problems...like if you get room face church street..you gotta deal with crazy drunken people screaming or fire truck, car alram noise, bike, buffalo wing's karaoke night(even gun fighting...happened last year..)well this is city..neighborhood is not safe...i grown up middle of city so it's fine with me(better than new york)...if you are not good with it then get a diffrent side room.
they have boiler for hot water and it is not enough for long shower if you are in studio. have to finish quick as possible. window is horrible. i can feel wind blowing to my skin. this building was for office before. they ouviously don't have right window for somebody sleep here. and it is very cold in winter time. still as i said if you are single and young that is not big deal. i had baby with me was tough with that. cuz it was cold for baby. so i put heater everyday day and night to make room just enough warm cost me $210 electric bill. i mean you could just wear warm and tuck into bed won't be problem. the girl next door only pay 50$ electric a month. there is no parking here. tough!
Anyway overall...it is totally best one in new haven.
i already recommaded this apt to many of my friends and they have to wait long time to get in here...longwaiting list. better hurry
I am confidence that i would never stuck with my lease cuz there are people who dying for get in this apt.
I'm so sad moving out of this room. I love center pointe. If i ever get divorced i would definally come back here. haha.
