If you are a market base renter then please don't live here. I just moved here four months ago...I thought the apt looked great from the ad but it is TOTAL ghetto. The majority (85%) of people living here are section 8 renters which means they pay much less for the same apartment (40%less). There are some shady people that come here or live here from the ghetto. The workout room is very poor. Most of the machines are broken. Most of times I see little kids or just some random people in the gym that just come and hang out and abuse the machine. And oh course the management here is not responsive to anything. They take there time to fix things in the apartment. So far I have had to wait 4 weeks before I could get a maintence man to come in and fix my closet door. Anyways...If I could go back I would not have chosen this apartment. Oh one more thing...the secretary at the front desk is so RUDE (Louis).....She is more busy talking about her personal life on the phone then helping a renter with their questions/problem. If you are paying $1450 a month you should at least get decent service from these people. I am just hoping my months go by real fast till my lease is up....Good Luck!

Why in the WORLD??!!! would anyone pay such an exhorbitant amount of money and put up wity this there IS housing court (oh I know your time is too precious) and if I had YOUR kind of rent money what a lovely place I could find (It is all in the EFFORT one puts into research) I AM a sec 8 renter in ct with a PH THETA KAPPA MAGNA CUM LAUDE DEGREE SIR OR MAM AND PLEASE DON'T STEREOTYPE US. Currently there is a housing shortage in America for all if you care to do the research. One of MY main job (decent ie better pay) has been lack of transportation (I have no car and do not drive. I raised a family on my own with no car, money or patriarch they are in college now and I am left to pay the bills and struggling to make a better way but in SECT no one cares about anyone but themselves. Nimbys, and 2 suvs, home etc and well just don't you dare think you KNOW sec 8 renters because of a few bad apples. If you care to take the time I would venture to say the REAL PROBLEM IS THE MANAGEMENT AND NOT THE DISENFRANCHISED PEOPLE. LEARN TO CARE AS GOD IS WATCHING YOU. GEE, If I only had that kind of rent money I wouldn't waste my time griping but rather would continually dedicate and educate myself to the social concerns of others and NOT YOURS. Hey - Just looked at these apts and was told by mgmt (after I asked) that the split is strictly 60/40 - 60% market value renters; and 40% base-value renters (I guess it's the nice name for sec.8). I think when this first opened - correct me if wrong - they were only market value apts. that has since changed - dont know why - and believe me, the businesses on the first floor are not haappy about it either since they were promised one type of clientele and have ended up with another.
