It's a matter of convenience from me. It's only 5 streets from my office at Yale.
The covered parking is great.
The washer and dryer are very good quality and hold big loads!
The building and the apartment look good and the common areas are clean.
It can be noisy, because of the clubs, so don't get an apartment near the corner of Church and Crown Street. I live on Orange and it's fairly quiet.
The fitness room has a lot of broken equipment, that's true. This is one complaint I do have.
The fire alarm goes off every 3 months, because... the system works well. I myself started it once, with my bad cooking.
Nothing has been stolen from my apartment.
I feel safe. Many times I walk home by myself after midnight, and it's OK.
Maintenance has been fine. Staff is OK.
Heating was almost too much in the winter. And you cannot regulate it at will. I felt terrible having to open the windows and wasting so much energy.
Yes, some people do not pay the full market price, but most of them are nice. Those who complain about them probably think all minority people don't pay the full price. Well, I am Hispanic and do.
So, if you don't like Asians, --------- and ------- Americans, you won't like this place, because about 75% of renters are not Caucasians.
Kids do play in the corridors during the day. That's not illegal.
I will renew my lease because I am comfortable here.

Thankyou for your review. I am a young ------- american woman working full time $13.00 an hour supporting my daughter two classes from a bachelors degree, and yes I qualify not to pay the full rent and this is beneficial to me. I love how the Residencies at ninth sqaure look, I live in the ghetto, but this place is beautiful!! thank-you for your review.
