I recommend Madison Towers - The reviews on this site last year gave me a lot of trepidation, but I signed my lease anyway and I have been very happy. Someone ought to say that on this website because it's a good place to live! I like the light in my apartment, the ability to control heat/AC, the friendly doormen and the nice hardwood floors and large closets. The kitchen appliances are old (except the new ...Full review of New Haven Towers

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! - To say that The Strouse Adler Apartment building is a delapadated tennament building would be giving it too much credit! If you are homeless, desperate, crazy or just want to experience city living, you would be better off living under the underpass to downtown New Haven. I'll give you just the facts and it is up to you the reader to decide, but if you decide that you want to ...Full review of Strouse Adler

I'm living here and I like this place... - We did a major R&D before renting this place and found that this was the best deal in the entire downtown area. People who have complained about noise should actually compare with Temple Square or Taft etc.. Agreed that during weekends this place is filled with people till 3 AM. But thats that.. I dont hear any noises from neighbors.. Staff is helpful, regular maintenance, amazing ...Full review of The Residences at Ninth Square

Unfortunately that includes menebers of their sports teams wholike to party all hours and blast music. If you complain, you will find management will inexplicably not want to renew your lease next year. ...Full review of Center Court Apartments

The Eli's a great place to live so far. - I've lived here for six months, and the apts. are beautiful, the residents are really nice and pretty calm, having the gym right in the building is great. The laundry room is much cleaner than any I've ever seen, and the rooftop is just a really nice bonus. Yes, it's expensive, but your maintainance concerns will be taken care of quickly, you'll meet ...Full review of Eli

Q: Is it safe?
A: I used to live at the CenterPointe, and while I loved the building overall, I would not walk around late at night. I am also female, and I would not really walk anywhere in New Haven alone late at night. If you are parking at the garage on Temple, buildings comparable to CenterPointe that are less than half a block from the garage are the Liberty and the Taft. I've had friends who lived at both, and CenterPointe is a nicer building than both. The Ninth Square apartments come with parking in a structure adjacent to the apartment building, so that might be a better option for you.
