I just signed a lease with these liars. Since I'm not moving in until January I was reluctant to give a security deposit so early. The manager assured me that if I post dated the check it would not be cashed until one week before my move in date. Well it was cashed the next day and now I have a number of bounced checks. Of course they claim they don't recall telling me they would hold the check.
On another note of their "forgetfulness", while looking at the apartments I mentioned I had a cat. When I went to sign my lease it said "no pets of any kind" when I said you told me cats were okay I got the oh, I don't remember you saying you had a cat and they tacked on an extra $25 a month to my rent.
Now I'm stuck in a one year lease with a bunch of scam artists
