Nice Place

I stayed up on the fourth floor. Overall the place was nice, albeit quirky. Cathedral ceilings and windows that went to the ceiling gave the place a spacious feel. It was built in 1929 and still had a lot of the antique cabinetry in place in the kitchen, plus cool french doors separating the living room from the main hallway. The bathroom was tiled with real tiles. ONE WORD OF CAUTION: if you live above the second floor be prepared to walk. When I lived there the elevator (also an original with the building) broke down on a regular basis. Other than that everything else was fine. Expect parking to be on par with any other curb side city arrangement. You may occasionally have to park a block or so away and walk back. Especially during Sailfest.
