These apartments are not worth the prices they charge.I say prices because there is no consistancy to there rental pricing.I may be paying 1200.00 per month while the person right next door who moved in on the same day is only paying 1000.00 per month for the same apartment.Your rent will increase yearly by at least $20.00 and every year after that.
They expect you as the renter to abide by every rule and regulation they have however they will break every ethical and professional code to get what they want when they want it.The apartments themselves are alright but they have a lot of problems with leaking, cracks in the walls, shabby decks out dated appliances and poor tubs, sinks vanities and carpet.There is one dumpster for the entire complex which is always full and smelly.There are hardened criminals that conduct there buisness and live in the complex. It was not uncommon to see a police cruiser looking for someone. The walls and floors are very thin and everything your neighbors say and do can be heard.The maintenance people are rude(except glenn)inexperienced and messy (note you are responsible to clean there messes)The pool is a joke and the putting green is smaller then the apartment bedrooms. The office staff are liars (except vanessa) and are totally unhelpful with all situations that arise. They practice a minimal code of ethics and professionalism and show a complete lack of understanding and help in all situations.They are quick to collect there money but don't want to hear about a problem you may have.Also for anyone moving into connecticut, you have until the 10th of the month to pay your rent. Don't pay attention to the friendly extremely early reminders they will stick on your door on the 3rd or 4th day of the month requesting immediate payment of there money. Parking is awful with no assigned spots and the stickers they give out are useless because they don't care who is there. The laundry facilities are broke (all the time) dryers running cool air washers running cold water and there are very few of the facilities on site with many people trying to share.The thermostates are regulated for those of you who buy into the heat included and the windows and doors are lacking insullation and seal so it gets damp and cold. The air conditioners don't cool the entire apartment and be careful not to break your neck on the sidewalks, stairs and decks during winter.If it rains or snows on the weekend or holiday the maintenance people do not put down sand or shovel on there day off. The gutters don't drain properly and leak and the water freezes during winter causing eveything to be slippery-especially without the required sand.Good Luck to anyone moving here I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy-or maybe I would.
