My best friend lived here for about a year and I spent a great deal of time at her place. The parking was TERRIBLE. My friend frequently had to make up parking spots just so she didn't have to take an extensive walk up to her place in a less than safe neighborhood. I would always have her call me as soon as she got home because I was worried about her getting raped or mugged on her way up to her apartment. The cops knocked on her door one night while I was there. They gave us their card and asked us to call them if we heard the person below her come home because they were hiding a criminal. Rumor has it from other tennents that someone was murdered in her building right before she moved in. The people in the apartment below her and next to her were always getting evicted for various reasons, so she always had new neighbors with new and exciting "issues" such as two families with children and a huge dog living in one two bedroom apartment and people that thought there deck was a trash can. Her next door neighbors played video games LOUDLY in the wee hours of the morning which was easy to hear since there was a two inch gap under her front door. There was no washer or dryer, only one community trash bin that filled up in no time flat and smelled to high heaven, a lazy office staff, a SEVERE lack of parking and no sense of security. STAY AWAY!!!

hahaha. I am laughing because that is totally true. I had a friend that lived there before he went to jail for dealing heroin( i didnt know or else he wouldnt have been a friend of mine )and in the apartment right below him, a woman was murdered. Tells you a lot about the apartments, hey?!

I am responding from the Management Office of Nutmeg Woods. If someone gets arrested for dealing heroin after he lived at Nutmeg Woods we cannot control that. We do run a criminal check on everyone who lives on the property. As for a murder on the property, that is a flat out false statement that can even be confirmed by the local police. If you are going to write statements, please make sure you have your facts straight.
