you can do better

I lived here for a year due to budget constraints, and the complex inspired me to move out and find a condo.
I found the parking to be adequate but annoying, and always had to park on the street. Carrying groceries was inconvenient.
The location of the complex is inconvenient with respect to major roads, unless you work in the immediate area.
My unit was a ground floor unit plagued by: dirt splashing in the windows, sewer backups, cigarette smoke and noise from the "crew" on the front stoop, dampness, and excessive noise from the folks above me.
However, the condition of the aparment when I moved in was good, and I felt I could keep it clean, except for the windows. Not having a dishwasher became a big issue. In the summer, I could not keep the humidity levels in my apartment down and everything felt damp all the time.
Not all buildings have laundry, so you may have to carry your stuff outside, in the rain, snow, mud, wind, etc.
Basically this complex is a cash cow for some holding company.
