It's not bad but there is no drive to improve

Well it's not the worst place and I have been here 3 years. Yes, I could have moved but whatever I live in a studio apt. We are doing the rent to own program and that's a bunch of bull. The leasing agents unfortunately have no clue even to the extent of what their own programs do. They said sign up and Coldwell banker from Essex JH&H can place you in any state. WRONG. My agent couldn't even or didn't even want to drive 45 miles up the road. She even wanted me to pay more on a 2 bedroom house. So their programs are not a good sell. I'd rather pay more to an agent that worked for a living.
Crime...I don't se much. Drugs...a little but most are gone. Zero tolerance. Local Police actually getting better. As far as picking somewhere else to live...if there was a better place I would be there. You either now someone or not. New London is junk anyway and is in debt and going under. best live else where. I am almost out
