IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR SANITY....KEEP AWAY!

We rented here from 2006-2007. I wanted to break the lease from day 1, when I had to go next door to tell the little "wanna-be stoner gang" guy to turn his stereo down. His music was so loud, it vibrated my couch! I could hear conversations from next door, I don't think anything separates the apartments but a thin piece of sheetrock. The office was not helpful. They told me to call the police. Yeah, thanks for the help. There were a bunch of young kids living in that townhouse, including the basement. I had to call the police one time because he was beating up his girlfriend at 6 in the morning. I was told when I moved in that no one could live in the basements. The townhouse on the other side of me had a minimum of 3 families living in it at all times from some other country, no english was being spoken, and a satellite dish on the side of the building that I was told that I could not have. They had people living in the basement too. If I was down in my basement doing laundry, no matter what time of day, I could hear conversations and music from both sides of me. If I went down there before I went to work in the morning, I could hear snoring from their basement. The move in sheet I filled out when I moved in was pointless. They never did a repair. After a year, I still had no filter on my vent hood over the stove. The basement was painted jet black when we moved in and we paid the maintance guy $100. cash to paint it for us before we moved in. I guess if you slip the maintenance guys cash, you can get repairs done. The apartment was filthy and we had to clean it ourselves when we moved in, we took pictures,we reported it, nothing was ever done. The carpet was caked with white dog hair that I never was able to totally vacuum up from the people before us. The parking was terrible. You get one parking space and then you have to find space on the road, which sucks as bad as these apartments. Kids play soccer in the parking lot and hit your car with balls constantly. The electric company forgot to turn our power off when we moved, so when I got a bill for $70. worth of electricity for 2 weeks when I didn't even live there, I spoke to the office and was told "tough sh**!" Now I am stuck paying the bill for the power that THEY used. How does an "empty" apartment use $70 worth of electricity when no one lives there and "they don't use any power when they clean" (duh, because they don't clean!) I didn't get my deposit back for over 6 weeks and legally they are supposed to get it back to you within 30 days, but I had to call them about it, and then I got it. I could go on forever, but I hope this helps the next person who thinks of renting from here. Don't aggravate yourself. If you live there and want to have some fun, throw an old hair dryer in the dumpster and watch the maintenance guy go in after it. Too funny. Seriously....stay away!
