The grounds are the only thing that are kept nice. We rented from Tarragon Management. Our apartment was flooded. We called the 24 hour maintenance and were told that someone would come out in the morning. The next morning, no one came. i had to wait infront of the rental office until the management staff finally came to work ( they were 1 hour late! ) and demanded someone come to look at our apartment. Two days later, after sleeping in the kitchen on our couches ( because the living room and bedroom floor were water damaged), someone finally came. They gave us two fans to try to " blow dry " the damage. Needless to say, we ended up cleaning it up ourselves. To this day, we wonder what types of mold grew while we were there. They refused to clean our apartment and refused to put new carpet in. The management staff is very nice in the beginning, but I have left their office crying many times because they would not fix broken appliances, send the exterminator to spray for ants, or weatherproof out apartment. It is state law that they must do these things, but somehow they get away without doing them.
Lastly, their newest scam is to have individuals pay for their own oil heat. But, the apartments do not have seperate meters and it is oil heat. So, they inform renters that they "estimate" your usage. Kinda hard to do without meters. Gues they magically know what the thermostat is kept at!

Renters beware.
