I moved in not too long ago. I decided to live her because of the location is convient for me. Yes, the location is good. there is, however, alot of problems. According to my standards the common areas of the building are dirty; the walls, the carpets are so bad. People let there animals defacate and urinate in the hallways. I found terds in the hallways twice. The carpets in the hallways are saturated and stained with; I don't want to know. The hallways and stairways are home to many insects large flying insects ones and there is a spider in every corner. I really hate that. Beware, the modle apartment the leasing consulting show you will be close to perfect. The one you receive won't. They will tell you that your apartment will be just like the modle but it's a lie. This is not uncommon though in any of the area apartment complexes. If you are lucky you will receive and updated/recently remodled unit. These apartments are bran new because the previous tennents destroyed it to the point where they had no choice but to gutt it. Congradulations. The rest of us will get a unit that sloppily had paint thrown on and shampooed carpets that look clean at first; then, the old stains creep back up. The painters in my unit didn't even bother to remove the old tenets hair from the wall before they painted. I don't like this at all. The celings might have big unsightly cracks for you to look at. Your screens will be old/dirty and your slider door may look like somone broke in at one time or hacked at it unsuccesfully. To top things off you might find yourself living close or next someone who has a much nicer unit; one that was bran new when they move in. You might feel jiped. Then since the market rate changes by the month or season there is a good chance that they are paying less than you and have a much much nicer place. Just somethings to consider. On the positive: plenty of parking. Neighbors are polite here compared many other places I have lived. The staff are rude and I don't know why. There job must be really difficult to do, because they are unhappy people. Well before they take their aggressison out on a tenent they should do a quick check if they have been always current with their rent. Take your personal problems out on thoes dilequent if you must take it out on someone.
