Expensive rent which kept going up. You could hear your neighbors and slamming doors. Winters were very cold here even though you spent a lot on heat ($200 a month). I routinely had 55F in my second floor unit (turning the heat down saved maybe $20-30). Very hot in summertime because of poor insulation. The master bedroom was practically useless because of the temperature. Maybe the single bedroom units are better in that regard. Also, be prepared to deal with a LOT OF TRAFFIC NOISE from Willard Ave. The complex doesn't treat its residents too well when it snows. The parking lot is quite big, but there doesn't seem to be any safe spots to leave your car for a day or so if it snows. You end up getting warnings under your door "your car will be towed" "you have to move your car." What are you supposed to do if the lot is non-drivable when you typically leave and you end up walking to work as a result' It's not nice to return and receive those notes. Not an "at home" feeling at all.
