The apartment was adorable when we first moved in. It had a dishwasher (didn't work), fridge (didn't work), and washer machine (didn't work). I am pretty sure they offer the appliances just as a means to up the rent they charge and make the apartments seem more desireable but the washer/dryer and dishwasher are both just a waste of space.
In July of last year they changed our windows from windows that opened to windows that did not. They left the apartment with out trim or blinds until September. It was so hot on some days that the loft area was actually steamy like a shower with our documents and diplomas getting ruined(the sun was always beating in - we couldn't hang curtains ourselves because there was no trim).
We moved out this past June with still no trim on the window. Particularly bad through the winter when we had a breeze coming through the unfinished trim made worse by a terrible heating system where you either froze or burnt up and definitely spent a lot of money either way. Any time you went to the management it was "going to be fixed that week" - they're nice to speak with but don't actually do anything and make plenty of empty promises regarding the repair and upkeep of the units.
I also have a feeling there is lead in the walls - we felt sick the entire time we lived there and have been feeling FAR better since we've left.

PS They had a "no pet policy" - After we realized how inattentive they were to the apartments, we brought our THREE dogs in there. They didn't seem to notice....
were they being kind or just neglectful' I don't know
