Never dealt with such a cheap, petty owner. Terrible experience!! Even though I was told I had been a good tenant and if I complied with certain actions my security would be returned, I complied with professional cleaning, apartment was spotless and NOT ONE PENNY of the 2 month security still remaining in owner's possesion was returned.
I had to deal with asthma attacks because of a chain smoker living below me (things I had stored still stink of smoke) and there was constant ants and flies. Ants were the worse problem. Other tenants said this was a terrible problem for them as well and that their pets could not eat their food because of having found swarms of tiny ants in them.
It's VERY noisy. You hear everyone's doors slamming and people rushing up and down stairs, you hear tv anywere in apartments on either side of you. You can hear anything going on at night in apartment's next to you. I had to purchase a white noise machine so that I couldn't make out so clearly the noises coming from bedroom next to mine. People were not especially noisy it's just really flimsy building material. I only asked for maintenance assistance ONCE and after SIX months of waiting and asking for help, I gave up they were going to come. I was told I was on a 'waitlist'. Well I'm still waiting for any semblance of fair and decent treatment. This place has window dressing, looks great, but the turnover rate along lets you know that it doesn't have the substance to go with it.
