I have lived at Whitewood pond for almost 3 years, and to be honest it has been a great place to live. Yes the kitchen is small and there is the occasional ant or spider, but if there is ever a problem the maintanence staff will be over right away to fix it. I do agree with other comments that they do need to upgrade the applicances and cabinets and also the carpeting if they are going to raise the rent every year. It is an affordable alternative to Avalon but much better then Briarwood right down the street. I can hear my neightbors talking loudly and their windown slamming and the electric heat is expensive in the winter, but I feel safe and I have had no problems at all in 3 years. I would recomend this place to anyone looking in the North Haven/New Haven area
