Stay Away, Unless Trains & MISERABLE Staff Don't Bother You

First off, I've been here 8 long months and must agree that, yes, the new staff are disgraceful pitiful managers who suck at their miserable jobs.
Now about the trains: The leasing office only wants your money and WILL NOT TELL YOU ABOUT THE TRAINS.
These trains rock 2 feet past the Merritt River Apartment complex at all hours of the day and night. Some nights are worse than others regarding the actual noise of the train itself. It's usually just bothersome background noise, but two or three times a week (maybe more or heavier train cars are in tow') it takes on the disconcerting sound of an earthquake. The entire building shakes. If you are not a heavy (comatose) sleeper, be prepared for rude awakenings in the middle of the night.
Oh yeah: I live on the OTHER SIDE of the building NOT FACING the train track. I can only imagine the horror that the TRACK SIDE tenants must face. I shudder to think about those poor souls.
ALSO: New GE people writing good reviews "love" it here because GE is paying for their relocation and the Merritt River management has not yet turned on them...give it time. You'll see.
Lastly, let's save the smug "buy a house if you don't like people" advice. That misses the point entirely (disgraceful, pitiful managers who suck at their miserable jobs). Hint: this is an APARTMENT RATING web site, get it'
