It's funny that one critic mentioned that employees of Merritt River are "one step up from a corner store", when we all know that this could mean great $ considering the cost of living in Fairfield County. The bottom line is, get a life.
If anyone is using this site as a reference to choose their next home, obviously they don't have a job.
Merritt River is by far one of the best places I have ever lived. Grant it, the cost of Fairfield County is ridiculous, but if one wants to live where the cost of living is substantially lower, move to Florida. Enjoy the sun and by all means, write reviews all day long on Apartment Ratings.com.
My point is, if you've gone so far to check for details by reading "wacky" reviews from losers, than maybe you should check out where the exact location of your apartment is, and you may notice train tracks.
Give me a break. We are renters. We're not home owners. I'd hope if you were sensitive to noise, you would let the staff know that was a concern and move to an apartment facing courtyard... ding, ding, ding.
