When you rent an apartment you are really paying for the facilities, the grounds, the location, etc. Most people don't think about the staff both at the apartment and at the corporate office that owns it.

The facilities at Merritt River seem nice enough. Yeah, its next to a loud train, yeah there has been a lot of blasting and demolition in the area, yeah the walls are cracking, yes many cars have been stolen/vandilized in the garage, but overall, it LOOKS like a decent place to live.

You would never guess that a terribly rude and inept staff would be enough to absolutely ruin it.

As a resident, I am telling you that YES, you will have to deal with the staff at some point, and you will find the way they treat you to be maddening. The treatment will seem unfair and rude to the point that you find yourself seeking legal recourse.

Fact is, its only unfair if they don't treat EVERYONE that way - but at Merritt River, rude is the order of the day, and everyone is treated with equal disregard, so yes, it is perfectly fair.
