Caution!!

I moved here because the rent was cheaper than apartments in the area. Well, you get what you pay for. The maintenance is nice, but not very responsive or competent. The roof gutter was clogged for two years before anything was done about it. In that time, water ran straight down the side of the building and into my walls and ceilings. Maintenance response was to suggest repainting to cover up the giant water stain on the drywall ceiling, though that STILL hasn't happened and probably won't until a new renter is brought in. In the meantime, there is mold growing on my wall and ceiling. The shower leaks, there is little control over water pressure and temperature. Construction is shoddy, kitchen and bathroom counters slope away from sink towards corner of walls, which leads to ponds of water stagnating on my counters. I can hear everything that happens upstairs. Some months, the energy consumption of this apartment is up to 3 times higher than it should be. Not really quite sure what is using the energy, but my guess is that the shower is leaking hot water, though maintenance doesn't believe me or care to listen to me.
The only upside is convenient location to downtown Norwalk and cheaper rent than other apartments in area. If these aren't super-important to you, I certainly wouldn't recommend living here.
