Moved in two years ago because i travel a lot and it seemed like a safe place for my family. Also they accepted pets which was a plus.

Unfortunately, over the past two years, it's gotten worse and worse. I had heard all of the horror stories, cars being broken into, shady people going in and out at all hours, etc.

Most distrubing to me is the multitude of leaks, stains and spots in the hallways that have yet to be repaired (2 years is a long time to stare at them). It's embarrassing to have company over because it is like walking through a dilapadated hallway with stains and pencilled graffitti. There are shopping carts strewn on every hallway and the grounds are a mess.

Parking on the weekend is difficult, you may have an assigned spot but no one seems to care or enforce it. They claim to have "visitor" spots but the same cars have been parked in them for the past year at least.

For $1800 a month go to one of the avalaon properties in Stamford, at least you get a swimming pool. Better yet buy something and spare yourself this pit.

Just a note, part of the problem seems to be the management. There have been at least 4 managers since I've been there and while the early ones lived on site, lately the trend has been managers that live off-site and don't seem to really see whats going on. Calls to the District Manager and executive committee are even worse, they are oblivious to the property and seem to think that everyone should pay a premium for apartments that haven't been updated in 30 years.
