Saw a 2 bedroom unit a couple of months back. It needs major updating for the price of rent they charge. I did not feel comfortable amongst the tenants there while checking the place out. There are a lot of kids (toddlers) all over the place. Just didn't look to clean. I can see how the parking lot could suffer from crime and break-ins. Halls are painted undesirable colors and overall exterior of the building could use some improvement. Most of all, I would put money on the fact that if someone living there for the past 5 years moved out, probably could not afford the new adjusted rents or pass a credit check ... if you know what I mean. Would not recommend it if you are a working professional. And for a bonus thought in my mind while touring, what if one of those little kids or an undesirable neghbor set fire to the building by accident' Make SURE you have renters insurance if you consider moving in there! Oh, and you can also smell the fumes from Kentucy Fried Chicken next door and it is most SICKENING! Forget opening windows for fresh air.
