When I first moved here I thought things would be great. This is my first apartment I did not realize how unhelpful or unsafe this area was. It didnt help that I choose a bad roomate, but I went to them to try to get that roomate evictated. They said Id have to do it on my own and recommended getting the police involved. Well when my roomate stole rent money I did call the police. The police informed me to tell the landlady and I did actually I told Sandy the Manager. The second I mentioned that I had called the police she said she was going to evict me and my roomate. This went nowhere because the rent has been paid on time every month even though I am doing this all by myself. For my roomate who I cant get evicted is living here rent free and they would do nothing to help. Before renting carefully read the lease and you can actually tell how horrible this place is to live. I wish I had payed more attention. Also it is convientally located across from shopping areas but dont walk across the street alone. While talking on my cellphone and walking back to my apartment I was followed home. Also the intercom locks are pointless because people are let in all the time.Friends of mine have been let in without doing pushing in the code because neighbors have let them in even though they do not know them. Rocks are placed in the doors to keep them open. So basically their "security" is pointless. Since I lived here ,and thats only been since Febuary ,I have already had several valuables and money stolen from my apartment.Also they were doing construction on an apartment below us and had spray painted without informing any of the other residence. Luckily I did end up waking up and smelling it. Unfortantely I was dizzy and lightheaded for a couple of days because of it. Not to mention that I have Asthma which management knows about and still no type of warning. Shortly after this spray painting my cat who had not had fleas since we moved in and had been checked just a week prior to make sure he didnt have fleas, ended up with them so badly that after we gave him a flea bath his head was covered in the disgusting creatures.Also the smoke detector in my department is badly placed and goes off every time anyone comes out of the shower. The cable for tv is also badly placed its right above the heaters.So make sure you have something thats fire proof to put your tv on.Also the laundry facility unless you live in the apartments above them are extreamly out of the way. Which is extreamly unconvient especially in bad weather. Believe me when I first moved here the management seemed so friendly too bad they are only friendly until something goes wrong. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT MOVING IN HERE. The Noise level is horrible you can hear everything that goes on in any apartment near you plus anything outside. These apartments are much too pricey to have to deal with all these promblems. Thank you. As soon as my lease is up I will leave and they can have my security deposit because I dont want to even try to fight them for it I just want to leave and Good riddance.
