The attitude of the management changes once they have you sign the lease contract. The buildings are very old and as mentioned by someone in this forum, there is always a chance of the fire. Infact when there was a fire last December, the fire alarms did not even go off.
I am sure the management will not spend much money in even repairing the damages completely and will cover up the damage. The only thing good is the location, but after living there for 3 years, I think it was a big mistake.
