OK. Let me be subjective:
Lived here for 2 years. (in the garden style ones.)

Pros:
1. Sunny, bright apartment. The garden style is not huge in the square footage, but no waste area (like hall way etc). very well arranged. feel very nice.

2. Safe and beautiful area. Rocky Hill is pretty safe. (there was one robbery I heard, but i think it's isolated event. this area has the same safety rating as fairfield). We walked around at night time with no problem at all. There is a nice golf course behind the apartment. many people are jogging around it. oh, they have some security car checking around at night as well.

3. Ample parking. no worry of parking space at all. the lot is well-lighted.

4. Fast repair. All issues we had are fixed in a day or two.

5. Nice club house/pool/tennis court etc.

6. Apartment buildings are not crowded. plenty of space in between, plenty of green in between.

Cons:
Not really much. except the rent is going up.

I didn't deal much with the office stuff, seems nice to me tho.

Job change forces us to move and we checked a lot of apartments close to shoreline. Believe me this is very much better than those. if this were bad, I don't know how i am gonna live in the other place.
