I lived at Elms common for two years and loved it. It is very safe, clean and a friendly community. Staff was always available from the time that I locked myself out at 11:30 PM to any maintenance issues during the week.

The layout of the apartment is very large and the price is right for the area and what you get. Everything is very new and clean unlike many other apartments that I lived at.

Finally, I think the staff went above and beyond in trying to encourage a sense of community by having contests and Christmas parties. It was a really nice touch.

When I came on here, I couldn't believe all of the negative reviews for this place. It doesn't sound like the same place that i have lived. If I could have stayed here I would have but circumstances have prevented me.

Tell the truth, the office people hounded you to death, so you had to leave. The only way what you are saying is the truth is if the office people all got replaced by human beings. So you are either lying or the office people got replaced or you work for EC doing damage control on all the negative reviews the place gets.

Dear better off not there, Is your life that empty that you can only sit by on this web site and pick apart anything positive? Do you really have nothing better to do? It's a sad sight to see people this miserable. And by the way, in my experience, when you get "hounded" by the office staff at any apartment community, it's because you (a) don't know how to behave in an apartment (b) owe money or (c)have done something wrong to deserve it. Get a life of your own and move on.

That last response was from the EC property manager. Sounds like you are getting hounded now, doesn't feel good does it ? What goes around, comes around.

I think this person is confusing this apartment with somewhere else, apartments are drafty in the winter. The contests get cancelled without notification and not everyone is invited to the Christmas parties.

This review seems bogus. It has the generic "great place to live" feel of a staffer padding their stats.
