Overpriced & Bland

No extreme problems, but we got sick of it. In 2006 they 'decided' to stop paying for heat, but it's not metered to the apartment, simply divided. This gets really expensive when you aren't home most of the day but your neighbors are. You can't hear between the walls, but you can hear the people below you VERY clearly. The screens leak in a mysterious way that let in insects but can't be readily detected. Kitchens are miserably tiny. Blinds, when exposed to sunlight, bend and break. Walls are nearly impossible to nail into (to put up any decorations.) Huge windows mean you are freezing in the winter. Neighbors run from average to evil, nasty people (who freak out when it snows.) In the summer, the kids take up all the pool, all day - there's no using it in peace.
On a day-to-day basis the only problem was the kitchen's size. Dryers use cards, not quarters, and cards only take $5 or larger to refill. Month-to-month 'convenience' fee $125 - so we're paying almost $1200 a month now, which is ridiculous now that no utilities are included.
New management a bit crankier and less available than previous.
On the upside, maintenance is very friendly.
