Upon relocating to Connecticut I needed to find a nice apartment that took me and my dog. I didn't really find a lot of quality apartments in the area that would take animals but Greenfield Village seemed to fit for me. It has a town-like atmosphere - people and pet friendly, everything within walking or short riding distance and lots of land to walk my dog. Close to the highway for my Hartford job. I don't agree with some of the disgruntled reviews here - After living here two years I find the complex clean, quiet and prompt with repairs. Management quickly solved the one problem I did have - I think it's a great place for people starting out and retirees.

You might want to think twice. The place is dirty ans has asbestos. They said on the news that tone one apartment that caught on fire would have to be torn down.........Awful place to live

The building that burned in the fire is now being rebuilt quickly - the place has no asbestos problems (no lead paint on the wood doors) and is a wonderful neighborhood to live in - many nice renters and condo owners who actually care about the place they live in. Drive around and check it out - very nice surroundings. People who don't want to deal with a few rules and regulations to have a quality of life - go elsewhere, please!!

Not a healthy place to live. Coughed the whole time I lived there. My cat coughed too. They say their is lead and asbestos, and make you sign a paper that says thier is, and that they told you about it. Since I moved out, had no health problems. And don't try to move out. It's like you are in prison. They want you to continue to pay the rent until they get up off their fat butts and rent the place to someone else. Maintanance girl is mean, I was afraid of her every time she came around. The fire filled the air with smoke containing lead and asbestos throughout the whole neighborhood.
