I signed on this past year and had a pretty horrible experience. I'd lived at Rockwood in the past, and things were okay. But this time I got into an apartment with a noisy neighbor below me. The soundproofing in this complex is very poor. If you dislike noise, do not come here! If you have perfectly quiet neighbors you'll be fine, otherwise, you'll hear EVERYTHING! It's also inconvenient that it is a one-person leasing office, so half (or more) of the time no one is available. While I personally like Lynne the office manager, her professionalism in dealing with peoblems is questionable. My calls - with reasonable, normal-toned messages - went ignored for over a month. The ownership is even worse. The owner's crazy wife is allowed to get on the phone and behave like a madwoman. There is no 6-month lease option and the ownership is completely inflexible. Maintenance is not prompt and your appliances and A/C will be old and may or may not function properly. On the plus side the apartments themselves are a decent size and generally fine on the inside. I'll say it's a good deal for the price, if you get lucky and have no problems. Otherwise, watch out!
