I've been living here for many years and love Rockwood. I'm giving it 5 to counter those unfair low numbers instead of 4 as it's not perfect, but Rockwood's great living especially if you enjoy nature in the woods, watching all the birds coming to the feeders, or sitting outside in one of the garden chairs with the cute little tables. I love having my own planting plot and growing my own vegetables. I read the reviews here because a friend I told about moving here showed me them. It's true about noise, but here there's only some from above or below. You never can hear anything from the sides. There's also no problem in my building using the laundry machines as long as nobody's a hog. It's also true the resident manager Lynne is rarely in the office, unless you made an appointment to meet with her, but she always returns messages. The buildings and grounds are clean and well kept. The carpet is not stain-proof but is stain-resistant as long as you spray and blot up right away. All in all you'll be happy here if you are quiet and considerate of others and appreciate good value apartment living.
