I agree with the reasoning of Love Rockwood reviewer so I'm also giving Rockwood a 5. The outside is wonderful here. There are tables and chairs with umbrellas, sliding lounges, hammocks and benches all over. Everywhere there are different types of trees, flowers, birds and wild life, mostly squirrels. Each year something new gets added. I have a large garden plot which gets re-cultivated every spring to grow my own edibles and flowers. The buildings are old, but they keep them up nicely. The apartments are refurbished with modern appliances and carpeting, etc. This is not a place for partying, noisy young people or children running around because there's nothing to do here except gardening, nature watching and barbecuing. I like it that way. I also like that it's private with no sign out front. I've had no problems with the staff here or getting repairs, but I can see how some people might take offense since the head maintenance man is very shy. The rent is reasonable especially with heat included, and I haven't had big increases like I used to get every year at another complex. Shopping is close by, and the gym's not too far. This is a good place to live.
