It should be a decent building, but the management is appalling. There are lots of problems that you just shouldn't have to deal with when youre paying this kind of rent.
Most of what the other reviewers say is true. It's pretty noisy, the pool gets overcrowded, the garage doors and elevators keep breaking, the fire alarms regularly go off in the middle of the night, and the communal areas rarely seem clean.
Goodness knows where they dredge the office staff up from. You won't get any help from them once you've moved in.
The place was designed by a moron. There are seventeen floors, but only one elevator at the main entrance. Somehow, despite concrete construction, there is minimal sound insulation. If you live on the upper floors, you'll hear every siren from miles around. At least it will drown out the sound of your neighbours.
On the plus side, there are some nice views, a fitness center and a good recreation area around the back. Unfortunately, it's nowhere near enough to compensate for the hassle of living here.
If you're looking for a luxury apartment in Stamford, look somewhere else.
