I've lived here for 5 months now. From 1 to 10, I'd have to give newbury common a 9.5. Everything has been great.. the concierge, the apartment, the maintenance. The grounds are beautiful, the pool is good to have, and the health club is rediculous compared to what you'll find in a tiny room gym at avalon. I pay a lot, sure, but a definitely less than some of the pricey avalons with no amenities. The people in this building are all nice. I've had a great experience.
When I was signing up I did get a vibe from the management. Everything they said was entirely accurate, though, and I got exactly what I paid for, so I guess it's actually a good thing that they acted very seriously about the lease signing process.
