I live in the newer part, 3-story side. It is generally quiet except for the occasional trash pick-up in the AM..the management can be space-cadets and somewhat rude.
You can absolutely forget about having someone coming and fixing anything.
The only time things have been fixed in my apartment was when I flagged one of the groundkeepers down, literally stalked him and convinced him to pleeease fix my sink.
My apartment is nice but the people running the place are a bit off-
