ah, what memories...

I lived here for about a year.

It had it's good and bad points, mostly bad.

the good = bright, airy apartments, good heat and AC, pool was fun as well as the on-site gym.

College girls walking around didn't hurt either.
the bad = as a working professional, if I got home after 10pm I had to walk about a half mile to get to my apartment.

same went for the trash bin.

I agree with one of the other reviews that having the college kids here is a nightmare.

lots of trash, empty beer bottles and loud "noise" 24/7.

hey I like loud music like the next guy, just not at 3:45 in the morning.
oh yeah, even had my car keyed one night.

I told the management office and they refused to do anything about it.

...so much for security.
as a single dad with two kids, it was a fun place to live overall.

lots to do and keep busy.

As a paying professional, too expensive for what it is - one big extended college campus.

If you are young and can afford it, go for it.

if not, try one of the other avalon communities, I hear they're a little better.
