I liked the apartment after the tour. It looked nice. However, it was far from the truth. Within days, the chinsy closet doors went off track. After many requests to fix them, they were still broke the day we moved out. Everything in the apartment is very cheap. And white too.... so you can be charged, ill get to that now.
They also have a fixin on your security deposit immediately when you move in. You arent getting it back. In fact, you will have to pay money. They have bright white carpets.... then they sand the parking lot with a gritty, muddy sand which will get on your carpet no matter what you do. Then when you move out you have to purchase Avalon Gates a brand new carpet, even though the only stains are from the sand by the doorway.
So when I brought our check for the charges the stinkin security guard wouldnt even let me in... only after a very heated exchange. even after I saw numerous people marching around the complex who obviously didnt belong. The pool' Ha! I could never go there. I dont know what the deal is, but the people were not those who live in Avalon Gates... it resembled a public pool.

Oh and there are a lot of ticks and spiders, but Avolon doesnt give a care about you. Just profits.
