I lived at Avalon Gates for 3 years now and hate it and can not wait to leave this place. They charge you for every little thing and raise your rent every year 5-10%, the staff is rude. They install a light colored carpet so you are bound to get a stain or 2 on it and when you move out they will charge you to install new carpet.
Also you do not see value for money. Now they come up with low rent trap for new residents. Beware if you want to come here, get ready for 5-10% rent increase every year. The ridiculous thing is that they want existing resident to pay average $300 more than new resident. If you want to add that up, it is $3600 per year after tax money. I do not know if it is fair under fair housing act. They are one of their kind. Please take my word and do not come here at all because they will screw you in every way that they can so they can suck every single penny out of your wallet even in this difficult time! Say big NO to their low rents.
