I lived in Hillside for about 2 years. I found the place pretty affordable compared to what else there is on the market near Vernon. Manchester is very pricy, and the closer you go to Storrs the worse the places get. Hillside Terrace is a nice in between.
I found the management particularly helpful and kind and HT. They were more than willing to help me with anything. The woman they have working there is very friendly.
Don't listen to all the hype other poster put up. This is a nice place. Most people post exaggerated experiences because they didn't get all their security deposit back for one reason or another.
