I recently just found this web site and I think everyone should read it before moving into Mount Vernon.
I have to be honest with what I went through because I dont want ANYONE to have to go through it while living here.
When we first moved in everything was GREAT. I would say a month- two months went by and forget it. We were on the second floor and had a baby, the lady downstairs kept calling Candice (manager) on us and it came down to her almost evicting us because of my one year old learning how to walk and falling. I dont think its fair.
This lady made our life a living hell. She lies, shes rude, and inconsiderate. Someone needs to fire her so that Mount Vernon can be what it is made out to be. With her there, its HELL.

Now that we have moved to another apartment building in Vernon its soooo much better. THe people here walk around saying hi to everyone, even calling you by name. We have fun things to do once a week, ice cream by the pool, car washes, paizza parties, and even breakfast before work, all supplied and paid for by the office of Briar Knoll. Please put consideration into moving to Mount Vernon.
