Avoid the hassel

This complex has some major problems that may seem small, but they are not. The office is a complete joke, every time I go down there, no one is around. Some Saturday?s the office is closed ALL DAY, which is inconvenient for those of us who work during the weekday office hours. If during the weekday you call the office and get the "answering service," good luck ever getting someone who is physically in the office. Then it?s a nice long wait before they decide to get back to you.
They have many rules that are vague at best and you find out about only when you are possibly in violation.
As for the grounds, since they allow pets, the smell is atrocious at many spots, expect to dodge dog feces and get the pleasant whiff of urine. This is as much a problem with the tenants as it is with the complex for not doing something about it.
Parking is yet another issue, if you have friends over they have a 10 car lot for this HUGE complex, if that is full, they direct you to the darkest ?parking lot? across the street, which in this area of Vernon is NOT where you want to be parking. Awful situation here. Also in your own parking lot, if your sticker is not on your car, or you are using another car temporarily, be prepared to have your car towed, no questions asked, no warning, that just makes you want to renew you lease
The inside of the apartments are okay, very thin walls if they are not the brick walls. Also, many spiders and other bugs come from the large windows, so be aware.
As for laundry, again, huge complex, two small rooms, a tiny one on the fourth floor and a larger one on the 1st, not really convenient and the change machines are never working!
Overall, it looks like a nice place, but I would avoid living here, not worth it at all, now I know why I always see people moving out.
