I've seen worse

It's not that bad here... it's apartment living. The walls are thin and you can hear everything going on in everyone else's apartment. When people are going up and down the stairs, it sounds like a herd of elephants. The cabinets in the kitchen and the bathroom are older than I am, and there's about 200 coats of flat white paint on these walls, so I think it's definitely time to remodel. But on the other hand, the maintenance staff come out very quickly when there's a problem (in my experience anyway). And the grounds are kept fairly decent. If the slobs that live here would actually care about where they live, it would be even nicer... I can't believe the amount of garbage that people just toss on the ground instead of throwing it in the dumpsters. Maybe they think that the staff here are supposed to clean up after them... who knows... I guess it's the way they were raised. But overall, I don't think it's too bad. The apartments are very sunny, and fairly spacious, but it's a little noisy because we're so close to Rt. 15. The rent is a little high I think, and if it goes up too much, I'm definitely not renewing my lease.
